Plug cable into the transmitter. To begin the process the person will connect the ethernet cable tester to the required cables. Plug the cable into different devices or computers checking if the error persists or if it functions normally. I have bought a network cable tester and in the manual it said that all lights from 1 8 g should light up in sequence.

Turn the tester on and watch if any lights don t activate during the cycle. The tester will cycle through 8 positions and a ground connection each represented by a light on the tester. However if there is no light at all the problem is likely with the cable the connector or both. The ethernet cable tester will take some tests to initiate the process.

Since the cable isn t grounded the ground position won t light up. Here is a picture of the manual. However i get only 8 without g although the cable is in working condition. The product s model is ns 468.
